It's no secret

I love to recycle...and that's why I have been making bags, jewelry and accessories of recycled bike inner tuber for years.
Many years ago I made jewelry from scrap material, but I haven't played with that for years - until recently. I love it. I started out making earrings of vintage and recycled tin. I have a lot of tin, I love to store all kinds of things in them, but I have too many. (I have also bought some more on flea markets here I Copenhagen..can't help it...;)

I have started to add earrings to my Etsy shop, only 3 pairs so far, but more to come, so keep an eye on my shop if you want to se what I can make out of these beautiful tin boxes.

The inner tube journals and pouches are still in the shop too.

Something is cooking

I was about to take some pictures for my new category in my Etsy shop (can't wait to show, but not today) when I found this little fellow....I love pigs, most of all when they are alive...never on my plate, and never will I buy one in plastic, but he or she is here, and I will let her stay a little longer, even though I'm trying to reduce my use of plastic.

No (less) plastic and zero (less) waste...a beginning.

I'm trying to get rid of as much plastic as possible and produce as little waste as possible. I start in my kitchen. I store and freeze in recycled glass jars.
I'm so much looking forward to the opening of a store here in Copenhagen (at springtime) where I can buy oil and flour and other organic products bringing my own recycled containers.

This is just too crazy...so much waste....I can recycle paper, glass, metal and hard plastic...but not this....crazy. It would be so much better if I didn't have to buy it to get my flour and beans..

In my Esy shop today - pencil case section.

While I wait for spring - clean up and bread baking

New pictures and a little spring clean up in my Etsy shop (even though spring is not here yet).
As something new you can now save a little on two on my single and double credit card wallets.

While I wait for spring...
I have never made my own sour dough, and thougt I would try. It took about a week to make the starter, and 3 days to make the dough.

It looked good and tasted so good.
